Seamless steel pipe length allows deviation
3 length
3.1 Normal length:
Steel pipes are generally delivered in the usual length. Usually the length should meet the following requirements:
Hot rolled (expanded) tube: 3000 ~ 12000 mm
Cold rolled (pull) tube: 2000 ~ 10500 mm
The length of the hot rolled (extended) short pipe is not less than 2 m. Cold-rolled (pull) short pipe length of not less than 1 m,
3.2 Cut to length: and Double length:
Cut to length and Double length should be within the normal length range. The full length allows the deviation to be divided into three levels (see Table 8). Each Double length leaves the margin as follows:
Diameter ≤159 mm: 5 ~ 10 mm;
Outside diameter> 159 mm: 10 ~ 15 mm.

3.3 Special purpose steel pipe. Such as stainless steel acid-resistant thin-walled steel pipe, small diameter steel pipe length requirements can be specified.
