High pressure boiler tube and low pressure boiler tube
The difference between high pressure boiler tube and low pressure boiler tube
The boiler tube is a kind of seamless tube. The manufacturing method is the same as that of the seamless tube, but it has strict requirements for the steel type used in the manufacture of steel pipes. According to the temperature of the use of the general boiler tube and high pressure boiler tube two, the general boiler tube is also become a low pressure boiler tube.
Low pressure boiler tube material:
No. 10 steel and No. 20 steel.
High pressure boiler tube material:
Different raw materials are made
The use temperature of the low pressure boiler tube is below 350 centigrade, which is mainly made of No. 10, No. 20 carbon steel hot rolled tube or cold drawn tube.
High pressure boiler tubes are often used in high temperature and high pressure conditions. The pipe will be oxidized and corroded under the action of high temperature flue gas and water vapor. The steel tube is required to have high lasting strength, high antioxidant corrosion resistance and good tissue stability.
Therefore, the high pressure boiler tubes are made mainly of T11, T22, T23, T91, P11, P22, P23, P91 alloy steel hot rolled tubes or cold drawn tubes.
Different uses
Low pressure boiler tubes are mainly used to make water wall tubes, boiling water pipes, superheated steam pipes, superheated steam pipes for locomotive boilers, large, small smoke pipes and arch tubes.
High pressure boiler tube is mainly used to manufacture high-pressure and ultrahigh pressure boiler superheater, reheater pipe, main steam pipe etc..
