GB / T699 Grade 35 Steel
GB / T699 Grade 35 Steel
GB / T699 Grade35 Steel is a high-quality carbon structural steel
Characteristic
GB / T699 Grade35 Steel has good plasticity and appropriate strength, good process performance and acceptable welding performance. Most of them are used in normalized and tempered conditions.
Application
GB / T699 Grade35 Steel is widely used in the manufacture of various forgings and hot-pressed parts, cold-drawn and upset forged steels, seamless steel pipes, and parts in mechanical manufacturing, such as crankshafts, shafts, pins, levers, connecting rods, beams, sleeves Barrels, wheels, washers, screws, nuts, motorcycle frames, etc.
GB / T 699 Grade 35 Steel Chemical composition
Note: The content of steel and copper for hot-press processing should not be greater than 0.20%;
GB / T 699 Grade 35 Steel Mechanical Properties
The sample is a round steel with a diameter of 25mm
Metallographic structure: ferrite + pearlite.
Delivery status: Delivery without heat treatment or heat treatment (annealing, normalizing or high temperature tempering). If the delivery is required in the heat treatment state, it shall be specified in the contract. If it is not specified, the delivery shall be made without heat treatment.
GB / T 699 Grade 35 Steel Equivalent Grade
Difference between GB / T699 Grade 35 Steel and GB / T699 Grade 45 Steel
GB / T699 Grade 45 Steel is a high-quality carbon structural steel. Its strength is 61 and HRC is 48-55. It is used more mechanically;
GB / T699 Grade 35 Steel is also a high-quality carbon structural steel, but its strength is only 54 and HRC is 38-45. Their differences can be identified from sparks. Sparks with low carbon content have a drooping tail and a slightly darker color. There are gunpoint tail flowers, not many flowers, and thick awn lines. In GB / T699 Grade 45 Steel, the tail is straight and the tip streamline has a branching phenomenon, with a large shooting force and a large amount of flowers.
45 steel has higher carbon content than 35 steel, of course, 45 steel is harder.
