GB/T 699 Grade 25 Steel
GB / T 699 Grade 25 Steel
GB / T 699 Grade 25 Steel is a high-quality carbon structural steel with good strength, hardness, plasticity and toughness in China.
Standard: GB / T 699
Grade: Grade 25 Steel
GB / T 699 Grade 25 Steel Features and Application
GB / T 699 Grade 25 Steel has high weldability and cold strain plasticity, medium machinability, poor hardenability and hardenability. Good toughness after quenching at low temperature after quenching. No tempering and brittleness tendency.
Application of GB / T 699 Grade 25 Steel
GB / T 699 Grade 25 Steel is generally used to manufacture cold stamped parts, small forgings and small machining parts such as washers, pins, bolts, nuts, etc. that are not heavy in heavy and medium-sized machinery;
After Grade 25 Steel is carburized or carbonitrided, it can manufacture friction plates, piston pins and non-critical gears;
Grade 25 Steel is normalized and can be used as steel for pressure vessel forgings at -20 ~ 475 ℃. Welding parts, hot forging, hot stamping parts are used as wear-resistant parts after carburizing.
GB / T 699 Grade 25 Steel Chemical composition
Note: The content of steel and copper for hot-press processing should not be greater than 0.20%;
GB / T 699 Grade 25 Steel Mechanical Properties
The sample is a round steel with a diameter of 25mm
● Microstructure
Acicular ferrite + pearlite.
● Delivery status:
GB / T 699 Grade 25 Steel is delivered without heat treatment or heat treatment (annealing, normalizing or high temperature tempering). If the delivery is required in the heat treatment state, it shall be specified in the contract. If it is not specified, the delivery shall be made without heat treatment.
