Alloy materials for boiler tube

2021-11-12
The boiler tube is a kind of seamless tube. The manufacturing method is the same as that for seamless pipes, but there are strict requirements for the steel grades used to make steel pipes. According to the use of temperature is divided into general boiler tubes and high pressure boiler tubes. Boiler tubes are usually made of various alloy steel plates as master batch.

Common performance standards of boiler tube

GB3087-2008 ---- Low and medium pressure boiler seamless steel pipe
GB5310-2008 ---- High-pressure boiler seamless steel pipe
ASME / SA210-- Standard Specification for Seamless Medium-Carbon Steel Boiler and Superheater Tubes
ASME / SA213-- Standard Specification for Seamless Ferritic and Austenitic Alloy-Steel Boiler, Superheater, and Heat-Exchanger Tubes.
DIN17175-- Standard Specification for boiler installations, high pressure piping and tank constructions and special machinery for high temperature and high pressure installations.

For low and medium pressure boiler (working pressure is generally not more than 5.88Mpa, operating temperature 450 ℃ or less) heating surface tubes; for high-pressure boilers (above 9.8Mpa working pressure in general, the working temperature of 450 ℃ between ~ 650 ℃) heating surface tubes economizer, superheater, reheater, petrochemical industrial pipe.
